4) Carbon arc cutting: carbon arc gouging, using carbon fiber. The arc has a temperature of about 6,000 degrees Celsius, enough to melt the metal and blow it away using a stream of compressed gas. Used to plane or cut metal.
When carbon arc air gouging is used for groove or root clearing, the oxide layer, hardened layer, top carbon or copper in the groove should be polished comprehensively. Because the carbon arc air gouging will produce a lot of smoke in the gouging, causing harm to human body, therefore, the construction site must have a good ventilation environment.
